Hey folks, I’m about to take a break and indulge myself in
one of my favorite pastimes. Knitting. November is always a tough month for me
and NaNo doesn't help the stress any. I've been chained to the computer for
days now, so today I decided to give myself a brain break.
First some fresh air with family.
Then write another thousand words and stop.
And on to the good stuff, soothing classical music and my
favorite chair.
All right, now for the ROW80 check-in.
Goals:
1. Write 5000 words per week until first draft
of WIP is complete.
So far I have well
over five thousand words written so far this week. I’m going to make that NaNo
deadline.
2. Accept more requests for interviews.
(Currently I only do about one in five. Bad me! I’m told I need to open up and
get over my shyness.)
Just filled out
another one. This is starting to be fun.
3. Read and comment on at least one blog per
day.
I managed this one, no problem.
So, my fellow writers and all you hard working folks out
there, I know how stressed you get because I was once one of you and I know
today’s work a day world is far from easy. What do you do to reward yourself
with a break? How do you kick the stress to the curb?
