Prudence MacLeod's Writings

I'm not just a wanna be farmer, I'm also a writer. I write romance, sci-fi, and action/adventure. Sometimes I even blend the three just for fun.

The romance novels are listed on the left of the page. The other books are listed on the right of the page. Please enjoy. You can also check the other pages of this blog for more.

I also play a lot of World of Warcraft; if you're a player you may spot where that hobby creeps into my writing. :)

The Inedible Crop

Ok, it has been raining off and on for days.  The end result?  The grass has grown to where I will soon have to cut it, that or buy a goat.  Actually, I'd rather the goat, she could eat the grass and give milk.  Very useful; grass not useful.

I mean, think about it people, North Americans spend thousands of dollar every year tending grass.  Mowers, ride on mowers, fertilizers, weed killers, weed wackers, edgers, etc.  We then go to the grocery store to buy food that comes from Columbia, China, Isreal, New Zealand, and god only knows where else.  What's wrong with this picture?

For the love of mercy, how many starving families could be fed from that patch of grass?  Something to think about.  Me?  I'm still considering the goat.
